Celebrate a book with a child
March 28 – Children’s Picture Book Day
When I was growing up, I had tons of books. I loved books. And when I give gifts to kids, I give books. Children’s picture books are a great gateway to reading.
In the old days, fifty years ago, kids loved books. Now they love devices. Kids need to know how to read and enjoy reading.
To mark the day, put a book in an Easter Basket! Visit Treasure House Books & Gifts in Old Town Albuquerque or go to any bookstore and get a book. Books don’t rot teeth, have food allergies, or make a sugar high. Books last forever.
