Fear!?!?!?!

It's anybody's guess as to what is going on in Washington.
The White House is dealing with Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward.
The President has called it a work of fiction. Let’s take a minute to calmly look at the book.
On top of the book, is the stunning op-ed piece in the New York Times that shows a real problem in the White House. I trust the NYT even more after the 100 days TV series that was just on. They check out everything and they just don’t print pieces without a signature. That person is being hunted right now.
The bottomline for all of us is do we need a President occupied with the book and op-ed or running the country? Running the country is a full-time job. Do we deserve someone who is concerned with his ego first and the people who elected him second? That can also be said about the people in Congress. If you add it up, no one is working for us and they were elected for just that job. If I weren’t doing my job I would be fired. Can that standard be applied to D.C.?

The President has called it a work of fiction. Let’s take a minute to calmly look at the book.
- The President has said the author, Bob Woodward, has no reputation. That is wrong on so many levels. Woodward has a sterling reputation as an author and newspaper man. You get a reputation when your work helps bring down President Nixon. Maybe that is why he is feared.
- The President said he was never asked questions about information in the book. But Woodward has him on tape saying he remembers being asked by Sen. Graham to be interviewed by Woodward. This is either a lie or just not remembering.
- The book says the reason the President won’t be interviewed by Mueller is that he changes his mind and answers. We have seen that on virtually all subjects. Again, is remembering a problem or does Trump lie and not care?
- The book has almost everyone calling Trump names behind his back. This is not the first time we have heard this. It may be a case of a third party saying someone said something but there is evidence for some time that people are frustrated in the White House.
- It is a fact that tons of people have been fired or quit the White House. They have left because they were unhappy. Happy people, on the whole, do not leave a position of employment.
- Trump has made a lot of factual mistakes on tape. He is not well read or an historian. He also does not believe in briefings. Trump often goes off script and says whatever pops in his head.
- There is a Putin connection. Hopefully we will find out what it is. The Russians and possibly others have hacked into our elections and are doing it right now.
