Changing the pace – drive to El Rito Saturday!
It is time for a break in the routine … and El Rito Library has the perfect change-up. A Fundraiser pancake breakfast and a raffle with a fabulous Altar by Nicholas Herrera. You gotta see it. And you gotta buy a raffle ticket. Do it now before it is too late!
The Annual El Rito Library fundraiser & Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday from 10 am to 1pm. The El Rito Library is one of my favorite little, independent libraries mostly because they know the Library performs a needed task. In El Rito there are not very many opportunities to get a book and read. The library provides that and community events for people of varying backgrounds to meet.
The El Rito Library is supported by Nick Herrera with his donation of Altar de Fe, David Michael Kennedy’s photo and El Rito Quilters with a quilt for the auction. We love Nick and know he is very talented and has an observant sense of humor.
In this day and age of not putting much value on books we take our hats off to El Rito Library staff and volunteers. A drive to El Rito is beautiful and will clear the mind. I know I need it!
The drawing and pancake breakfast begin at 10am and runs to 1pm. You gotta check it out.
