We Got What We Deserve

New Mexico Governor Martinez threatens a complete government shutdown because she didn't get her way in the legislature. Most people in New Mexico probably won't even notice. SAD!

The Governor has said she is calling a SPECIAL SESSION of the New Mexico Legislature at $50,000 a day, because she didn’t get the budget she wanted and so she vetoed it. So basically, we are being run by a bunch of juveniles in New Mexico. Let us not forget we voted for them.

We are the hole — big-time — in New Mexico. Our gas and oil revenues bottomed out and we have no money. Also, things are now more expensive and other things are falling into disrepair. So we can’t pay for education and therefore the schools don’t buy books. The libraries have had their money cut so they can’t buy books. Many adults don’t read so they don’t buy books. They used to read but they are so busy trying to earn enough money to pay bills they have no time to read. And they don’t have money to buy books.

The Governor is pissing and moaning and vetoing because she is mad, basically about everything. She didn’t get her way. Too bad that she didn’t want to raise taxes — she just told everyone that we should just shell out $50,000 a day in tax money, and shut up. What non-representive planet does she live on?

Remember the good old days when elected officials at least tried to work for the people they represented?

We now have a bunch of entitled idiots running New Mexico. Great!
