Signs? Really?

Signs are supposed to be good things that help people . . . but here is an example of "BAD" signs.
I was delivering in Old Town and a store owner said he can’t tape signs about signings, new books, or anything anymore because they constitute SIGNS in the clouded eyes of the City. Let’s get this straight, he can’t tape signs from HIS computer on the inside of HIS windows, in HIS store because they are signs.
This is ridiculous! First of all, the City should be doing everything they can to make businesses prosper. Instead, they have the more than ridiculous ART project that has caused major problems for the businesses that haven’t gone under. The City of Albuquerque is the home of the worst crime in the United States. It is also home to a major homeless problem.
But instead of fixing the things that are really broken, they tell a store owner he can’t have computer print-outs in his store. Maybe they need to work on something else that is a problem?
