Top White House aides are getting a raise of about $10,000@. Now, it has been rumored that it is automatic and that may be. But if they had half a brain they would IMMEDIATELY say they are donating the raise to a foodbank, vet’s charities, or help government workers with bills who have medical or other problems. Why aren’t reporters piling on to find out why the White House aides are hiding?

There is another rumor that VP Pence is donating his raise. Good for him because it really looks bad.

In the face of a government shutdown it is unseemly to take a raise. And let’s be real, did they do that much to warrant a raise?


Trump says all the government workers impacted by the shutdown, support the shutdown to support the wall. A reasonable person would say, does a person who can’t pay their mortgage or buy food and pay bills for their family care what the reason is for the shutdown? They want it over and they hate the politicians who caused it. After all, wasn’t their raise just killed and only the Trump appointees are getting one. Who needs little people?

The government workers should not be used as pawns by ANYONE.
