What A Jerk! or Should I Say Jerks!

Just when I thought there was just one, then I remembered that it is plural "jerks"!
Troubled Sports Program
The troubled, and I mean REALLY troubled, UNM Athletic Department has another MAJOR problem to deal with. The UNM Football Coach is suspended for a month.
Bob Davie, allegedly, did everything but kill someone. Davie covered up a rape, called racist and anti-female names, physically abused players, prevented reporting of crimes, and more while having a bad football season. All of this allegedly. And UNM ONLY suspended him for a month? How about firing his rear end? How about discontinuing the money pit they call the football program? While you are at it, why not kick out the interim UNM President Abdallah who was President while all this was happening?
The atmosphere in the Athletic Department is that anyone can do anything because they are jocks. What the HELL? What kind of example are the jocks showing to UNM students?
We have all have been played by UNM! What a total embarrassment. If I were the new UNM President coming in, I would say there is too much wrong with UNM and I am going elsewhere. UNM could be beyond help.
NOTE: Bob Davie received a 30 day suspension from UNM. He gets more than $800,000 a year so 30 days is about $70,000. Not bad for someone who broke so many rules and laws! And by the way – the suspension hasn’t started.
I Love a Parade But Not This One!
President Trump wants a military parade just like the Russians. Why do we want to be just like the Russians?
He wants to have tanks, missiles, and soldiers in a parade. Talk about stupid. First of all, I want my tanks, missiles, and soldiers not in a parade but on the ground wherever they have to be. Second, talk about unnecessary expense. Won’t the military like that money instead?
Are they going to have in the parade that soldiers build schools, fix water delivery, keep the peace, help in disasters, and other good works? Or, does Trump want in the parade only that soldiers fight?
Last, Trump wants Vets in the parade. I hope you are not going to ask wounded warriors and senior Vets to march? So you have to get or build appropriate vehicles for them. Many can’t march. It is degrading. Do they want to be put on display? Sad!
I do not want to see a parade of weapons of war. I hate we have to have war at all. The reason Russians have those parades is they don’t have good sense. They have to do something to make the Russian people think they are working in their name. Is that why Trump wants a parade or does he want to be like the Russians? War is bad. Have a peace parade instead or a parade of good works. I won’t watch it!
