The Sellsheet & the "new" Range Cafe
February 02, 2017 16:28 Sellsheet
The Bucket List book blog highlighted our Bucket List books but it is so popular that we have expanded the blog to include all of our books and things we are passionate about. After all, a sellsheet is what you leave bookstores to sell your book. It is also the sheet to promote events and other wild adventures. So, it is appropriate that the new blog is SELLSHEET!
It is a new blog! The Bucket List book blog highlighted our Bucket List books but it is so popular that we have expanded the blog to include all of our books and things we are passionate about. It is also appropriate that the first entry is the new Range Café on Rio Grande Blvd. NW, in Albuquerque. It just opened and is a part of the popular Range Café chain in Albuquerque. The Range’s Green Chile Cheeseburger was featured in my Green Chile Cheeseburger Bucket List book that came out last year. It doesn’t hurt that the Range is one of my favorite places!
The site of the new Range was a Burger King. It has been gutted and now a nice Range. It has been a long time coming.
When we drove up we were concerned it wasn’t really open because there was still outside construction on the parking lot. But the Range had been open for a week and a half. So, we trekked over the empty lot we parked in, to the restaurant.
Inside was great art, even hanging from the ceiling. The trademark “old toy ranges” were stacked and hanging. I especially like the three cows bursting out of the wall.
This Range had a smaller menu but the signature Green Chile Cheeseburger was there. My favorite, the grilled cheese with tomato jam with tomato soup was missing. But I made do with a green chile Mac & Cheese with shrimp. The folks with me had Southwest platters and shrimp and artichoke on pasta. I got their killer sangria.
We needed a place to hang on Rio Grande Blvd. The new Range is just north of Old Town. I am going back! Just get the parking lot finished. Oh, and put the new Range Cafe on your website too — http://www.rangecafe.com!
