Celebrate Books for Children!
April 2 – International Children’s Book Day!
Children’s books are the gateway to loving reading and books. But here is the thing, you have to have access to books to read them and hopefully love them.
So for every holiday, birthday, or just whatever – give a kid a book. It is better than candy or a sweater (unless they really need one!). And if you have the time and energy read a book with a kid. Or take a kid to a library to find books.
They just may keep the book forever and think of you!
