Wilbur Ross & Let Them Eat Cake

Many in the WH totally insensitive to average American citizen
Billionaire Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, can’t understand why the 800,000 government employees who don’t have a paycheck for 35 days, are going to food banks. He thinks they should just get a loan to get through the shutdown.
So let me get this straight, the government employees already have loans for cars, a mortgage is a loan, and school tuition loans, among other types. Good old Wilbur wants them to get another. They would have to pay interest on another loan that they can’t pay. What is wrong with that? Wilbur probably hasn’t had a personal loan in a long time. And he should know, what bank would give you a loan to survive a bunch of stupid politicians?
The questions are: is he senile, ill informed, clueless, or just stupid? Or all of the above? The other question is: is Wilbur getting paid during the shutdown or donating his salary to government employees not getting paid? Good old Wilbur certainly doesn’t need his salary! What happened to all of those Trump appointees that said they were donating their salaries? And what happened to all those Congress people who said they were going to donate?
A lot of hot air! Wilbur should know that the shutdown is costing the economy a bunch of money and credibility. Wilbur is the Commerce Secretary! Maybe no one has told him yet.
Let the government employees eat cake.
Talk about simplistic! A lot of things go into crime: domestic violence, opioids, poverty, drug addiction, and alcoholism to name a few. A Wall won’t fix those. For anyone to suggest a Wall is a cure all is isolated, clueless, and frankly misdirecting sentiments. This is the new motto of Trump from now until the election.
Oh, I have a vision that five years down the line, we will have a mega white elephant if the Wall is built.
