We were thrilled to be invited to the ceremony for Ollie Reed Jr. & Rod Taylor, who received the Max Evans Rounders Award from The New Mexico Department of Agriculture and the New Mexico Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe ear;her this week. Slim Randles, author of the Cowboy Bucket List book and previous Rounder winner was there along with Don Bullis who was also a Rounder winner. Of course Max and Pat Evans were there. We are friends of Ollie’s and he was truly touched to have received the award. Ollie is a good-old-boy!

One of the guests was Pat Hodapp, the author of the Santa Fe Bucket List book. She will be speaking today at Women Write the West Conference in Santa Fe. Pat will also be presenting at the New Mexico Library Association Conference in Albuquerque, November 3 & 4. She is busy!
