Had loads of fun at free public screening of Nasario Garcia Remembers the Rio Puerco which will air on PBS next week.
We were honored to see the new PBS/KNME show – Nasario Remembers the Rio Puerco. For those of you who can’t get to the Santa Fe screening tonight at the NM History Museum, the show will be on KNME October 12, at 7pm. It features Nasario Garcia’s childhood home in the Rio Puerco.
I think people who are not familiar with the vastness, desolation, and hardships of New Mexico will be shocked. It is nice that the Rio Puerco area was documented this way! Congrats to all who had a part in the production. It is a beautiful part of New Mexico.
