Terrible Flooding in Maryland — Our Prayers to all affected.
This is the second time, that I can remember, that Ellicott City has been flooded. I know Ellicott City in Howard County, Maryland. It is a charming, historic town with a main street of shops and restaurants. I bought my wedding dress there on Main Street. The stores are small and made of river stone.
Because of the way it was built it is subject to floods but this recent flood was unreal. They had 9.4 inches of rain on Sunday. Cars were flipped, first floors of every building were flooded and there is the mud factor. They will have to rebuild again. Our prayers go out to all the victims. We hope the upcoming rains will not do more damage!
