On your mark; get set; go get your pencils!
National Pencil Day, March 30
Pencils are a big deal. In the old days, about 20-50 years ago, pencils were the go to way to jot things down. We all had pencil sharpeners. Not now!
You could erase with a pencil – not pen or a marker. It is like what the computer is now – you can make changes.
An artist depends on the ability of a pencil to use when sketching. You have to be real smart to do math with a pen. Who heard of doing crossword puzzles with anything but a pencil? Do you make marks on lumber before cutting with a pen?
Think about where would we be without a pencil?
