North Valley – 3 Times is a Charm!

We had a jam-packed weekend of book talks and signings — restores one's faith in the importance of book!
We had a wild weekend of events with the two North Valley books by Francelle Alexander.
It really started Sunday with Ollie Reed’s article in the Albuquerque Journal. At 9am they started calling to get books and emergency deliveries. We had also very good publicity in the Los Ranchos Village Vision Magazine and Albuquerque The Magazine. We delivered books all week.
Over 100 people turned out at Bookworks on Rio Grande Blvd. and they sold a lot of books. Then it was standing room only, again, at the Los Ranchos Village Hall on Saturday. The three-events were done with a huge signing at Treasure House Books & Gifts in Old Town.
As a result, we sold hundreds of books and when the Treasure House event was done we had four books left there and standing orders in the office. But good publishers that we are, more books are on their way and will arrive later this week.
Francelle was excellent and she has more events: National Hispanic Cultural Center in the Wells Fargo Theater – March 3, at 10:30 am at the North Valley Senior Center – March 13, at 10 am.
It shows that people want to know about their history. It was also nice to start the year off with a bang-up set of books!
