Al-Quds in America

A diamond in the rough — check out this fabulous restaurant!

blogEntryTopper
I meet a friend for lunch about once a month; we met in what was El Pedro Market. They moved across Montgomery to the new Al-Quds.

It is larger, brighter, and a better place. My friend, Ann, had the Beef Shawarma and when it came I thought it looked real good. I am a gyro person but I can change! It was good and they have lamb and chicken too!

They also have Tabbouli, Greek Salad, Kabobs, and of course gyros. They have started putting bags of fresh-made pita at the entrance. YUM! And for foodies they have really unique market items to look at and buy.

Al-Quds is a work in progress but they are quickly getting the new location up to par. It is a diamond in the rough. Find it next to the Red Lobster at 5555 Montgomery NE.
