Where o' where have all the little red cups gone?
BIG RED CUPS
As you know, I had a car accident Monday, so I have to bundle all my errands. Today was Costco besides Bookworks, FedEx, UPS and gas.
One thing I had to get was Big Red Cups. A bag of 240 cups lasts for almost 6 months. They are not good for the environment but what is? It you use a glass cup the washing and electricity also has to be considered. Costco was out of Big Red Cups. Considering it is their brand with Chinet, that is strange. So a nice employee looked it up on the computer and they were old and DISCONTINUED! I have gotten Big Red Cups at Costco for my entire membership about thirty years. There is even a song about Big Red Cups from Toby Keith!
I got some Walgreens cups on the way home and looked on the Costco website. THEY WERE THERE! I contacted customer service in a very unsatisfactory CHAT and Jeannie said certain stores have them and certain don’t. Nice corporate decision making! And if I wanted to buy $75 of Costco stuff – the cups were about $13 – there is free shipping. No, I didn’t want the stuff. And there seems to be a disconnect between the website people and the people who order cups for stores.
So, I ordered from Amazon and as a Prime member I get them free. Talk about stupid!
